These pictures are of a hero in the ghetto, Janusz Korczak a director of and orphanage. He had the option of not accompanying his orphans as they were sent to their death yet he chose not to leave his children. The last two pictures are of his orphanage in Warsaw that is very close to the Jewish cemetery. It is still a working orphanage today.
