Now we are in Warsaw, The first picture is the stop of our first stop the Jewish Historical Institute.
Warsaw had the largest concentration of Jews in Poland. thus having the largest ghetto. The Institutes's director seen in the next photo talked to us about the Jews in Poland and specifically in Warsaw. At its height the ghetto held 400,00 to 500,00 Jews in an area that was from 3 to 5 per cent of the geographical area of Warsaw. Because the Germans upon retreating from Warsaw destroyed it apart from the Jewish cemetery and memorials you won't be able to find remnants of the Ghetto.
