Becoming Witnesses

Welcome to Becoming Witnesses. I am a member of a group of educators chosen by North Carolina's Center for the Advancement of Teaching to become witnesses of the Holocaust by visiting some of the primary sites in Germany and Poland. The intent of this Blog is to share this experience with others. From this amazing opportunity may we all become more fervent in our call to become witnesses.

What a great way to share your trip and new learnings! I shall be checking on your blog often. I just participated in the week long Holocaust symposium in Boone, NC last month. We had major scholars of the Holocaust and survivors share with us. I'll be viewing your blog with much interest!

I too was at the symposium at Boone this summer. Two Wake County teachers and myself gave a presentation at the banquet about the staff development class we created for our county after we attended the symposium the summer of 2007. Thrilled you found the blog. Looking forward to sharing the trip!

I can't wait to follow your trip through your blog. Having worked with you this summer in your on-line course, I know it will be a wealth of information.
